years ago when avatar first came out i ofcourse saw it in 3d and was utterly amazed i own it now and still watch it on occasion then shortly after avatar came out clash of titans came out in 3d i saw that but this time around it did not blow my mind like avatar i also noticed when i took my glasses off for a sec i could see the picture almost clear this made me pay attention from then on to see exactly how much of the movie was actually in 3d and boy was disapointed i noticed that just about everymovie from then on i saw in 3d only actually had on average 10 to 15 minutes of actual 3d footage star trek into the darkness was the straw that broke the camels back i no longer pay to see 3d movies in the theater unless i know its filmed in 3d i went to see the martian unknowing it was even showing in 3d at all so i definatly gotta check that out
My opinion on the topic and im very very nitpicky on 3d quality and other aspects of movies if you not going to shoot the movie in 3d then dont bother re doing it in 3d post production if you do anyways you should be allowed to charge freakin the same price real 3d movies charge
