Looking forward to seeing so chatter about these films. I've just started watching 3D and enjoy it; but clearly there is a huge difference between filmed 3D and post-production work.
For a lot of the stuff, it makes me think of the "simulated 3D mode" on my player which doesn't do much.
I think the only thing that probably benefits is the CGI special effects that can be tweaked afterwards.

I tried the Simulated 3D mode and I find it kind of hilarious. So often 3D (and many tech features) are about ticking a checkbox. I bet if they did usability studies on Simulated 3D mode, the average person who tries it spends a total of 5 minutes on average ever using it, if anything.
Really bummed that ESPN is closing down their 3D department. Not sure what's going to happen with the 3D TV thing.

BBC is quitting 3D too, allthough I am not sure what they actually did with it hehe. I read that the next doctor who episode will be in 3D November. Hopefully someone will rip it, because I am in the US.

I have been waiting for this a long time. Keep it updated even if there is not much forum activity. I think many people are interested in the information provided.
