Very recently, I tried playing my commercial 3D BDs by PowerDVD 10 Mark II, and to my surprise, none of them were playing in 3D mode! So I looked for an update, and installed the latest (also, restarted the computer), and now, the version is PowerDVD 11 Ultra build 5012. Even after installation of this latest update, NONE of the 3D BDs are playing, everything being rendered in 2D mode only. When I click on the 3D icon at the bottom playback control panel, it says, "CyberLink PowerDVD could not enable 3D playback. Try choosing a different 3D display device."
My graphics driver is Nvidia GeForce 460M (Windows 7 Pro 64 bit), and the Nvidia control panel is passing the stereoscopic 3D test, which means the hardware is perfectly working.
I needed a solution from CyberLink, but they don't have any answer so far.
As of today, I can't still play 3D BDs. What a nuisance!

No one can see you tear up when you wear 3D glasses :)

I am forced to use Nvidia 3DTV play using my desktop. Download the free 14 day trial and see if that helps.
